I haven't worked out in forever! (or ever), is this the place for me?
YES! Studio Poise exists with the sole purpose of helping clients create and embrace a healthy lifestyle for themselves. We welcome and embrace any and all fitness levels, sizes, ages, and mindsets! Beginning a fitness routine can be intimidating and stressful; our goal is to make that all go away and get you comfortable in your own skin!
What should I wear for shoes?
Footwear is MANDATORY with the exception of Flow/Yoga classes. Every class is different. Please check the class description for recommend footwear on that specific class you are attending. We do request that all sneakers be clean, indoor specific sneakers.
Do you have locker rooms/showers?
Unfortunately we do not. Our studio is quite tiny, but we do have 2 spacious restrooms available for your convenience.
Is there a place to store my personal belongings?
We do have cubbies in the waiting area. We ask that all personal belongings be left there or in your vehicle/at home. Studio Poise is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Do I need to setup an online account and register in advance?
Technically, no. We do welcome walk-ins! However, our classes do fill up and they fill up quickly. We strongly encourage reserving a spot in advance so we can guarantee a spot in class for you!
Do you have a cancellation policy?
We have a 12-hour cancellation policy. No-shows and cancellations within the 12-hour window will be charged in full (or a $10 fee for all unlimited packages). If you know that you will not be able to make it to class, please cancel yourself through your online account so that we may add the next person on the waiting list. We understand that life happens, but please understand this policy is very strict, and e-mailing to waive the absence is discouraged.
What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in, we have no wardrobe requirements! Yoga pants to basketball shorts - whatever encourages you to get your sweat, sparkle, and smile on works for us!
Do I need to bring equipment?
For the most part, no. Any of our yoga classes, we do ask that you BYOM (bring your own matte), but do have a small quantity available if you forget! We have pilates mattes and equipment here in the studio for all of our other classes! We also recommend brining water and a small towel! (water is available for cash only purchase and we also have a water bubbler available).

I cannot reach anyone at the studio, how can I speak with someone to answer my questions in more detail?
Studio Poise is open by appointment only, so it may be tough to reach someone at the desk. The best option is to email us at email@example.com and we can call you at our earliest convenience!
What if I am added to a wait list?
If you are added to a wait list, hang tight! You will receive an email and/or text notification letting you know if and when a spot has opened up for you! Please be sure your online profile is setup to receive emails and/or text notifications, otherwise we have no way of letting you know you are in. If you no longer are able to attend a class you are wait listed for, we kindly ask to remove yourself so we may let in the next client on the list.
Do my classes expire?
Yes, all classes and series do have an expiration date. Please plan accordingly when purchasing/booking your classes as we do not offer any extensions.
