What is 6W2C, and how did it come to be? Danielle shares her motivation for developing Studio Poise's signature fitness & nutrition program:
This program was one of my main motivating factors for opening Studio Poise back in 2012. What is has become in those 4 years is a major part of what now makes the studio tick! So many women have come and gone, and come back again to this program for many reasons! First and foremost - it works! If you follow it, you cannot fail; this I promise! Secondly - it has been amazing to watch many women create a bond and even find best friends from participating in this program! Finally - the confidence and happiness I see in the success stories is unlike many others out there. The women who succeed and love this program truly sparkle at the end of the 6 weeks! It is easy to follow, few limitations, and an abundance of food to eat every day along with your favorite SP classes that fit YOUR schedule!
I have watched as this program has truly changed lives, including my own! So what are you waiting for?

I said in our first 6W2C meeting that I wanted to wear a bikini on my honeymoon on top of fitting into my dress. The program was incredibly easy to follow and I ended up losing 11 inches overall! Participating in classes with women who have become friends not only made this transformation enjoyable it felt easy. In a very short period of time my clothes fit better, I had more energy, and I was generally happier with myself. I feel stronger, I have more energy, and I am more confident in my body's ability to handle physical challenges than ever before. I've met an amazing community of women, people that I'm so grateful to call my friends. These aren't just people that I stand next to in Zumba class. They are people who coach me through a 5K; we text each other when we're having a hard night; we give each other advice, and support each other through our ups and downs. From the Kickoff meeting I was hooked. It was the first time in my life I felt excited about exercising and really committed to it. I dove in head first to 6 Weeks to Chic and I can say now that it truly changed my life! My 6 Week teammates and I bonded, shared recipes, encouraged and supported each other through classes and the Facebook group. Danielle and all the instructresses, as well as all of the SP ladies, were welcoming, encouraging and motivating. While my weight loss journey did not start at Studio Poise, it is here that I found the critical missing piece that I needed to continue my journey to weight loss and overall fitness. It is here that I FINALLY gained a healthy outlook on my weight and fitness. It is here that I decided to turn 40 with confidence and not self-doubt. I fell in love with Studio Poise and the 6W2C program! I was eating food that I actually enjoyed and having fun while I was working out. I was so impressed with myself and my progress at the half way point from eating healthy foods and exercising five times a week that I decided to pick it up a bit for the second half. 6 Weeks 2 Chic was the start of a lifestyle change for me. It has now been 8 weeks since I started at Studio Poise. I have lost 13.5 pounds, 2.5 inches off of my chest, 4 inches of my waist and hips, and 5 inches off each leg. I jumped right into the program, and Danielle’s guidelines were so easy to follow that I felt empowered right from Day 1! I threw myself into my classes and tried almost every one that is offered. Around week 2 or 3, something started to happen...I could FEEL the difference in my confidence and self-esteem, I wasn't afraid any more, and I didn't mind standing out. While I was seeing some major changes in my body, I am more amazed by the overwhelming feeling of support and how it was making me feel on the inside. I felt so much better (slept better, moved faster) and it was serious motivation to keep going. I looked forward to savoring my favorite things and after a few weeks I noticed having an unplanned cheat or too much of something unhealthy affected me in a way it never had before. Headaches, grouchiness AND complete lethargy would follow a bad meal. My body actually craved healthy foods! At the end of the 6 weeks I was down 29 pounds and 17 inches total. I've never had that kind of success before and for the first time in my life I actually think I have found the perfect eating plan and exercise routine for long-term success. On April 2nd I had my last weigh in and I am pleased to say I am down 101 pounds total since joining Studio Poise in August!!
