Community Gratitude

It's become something of a tradition here on the blog to share messages of gratitude from our #PoiseNation community every Thanksgiving. Thank you to everyone who submitted notes! Today and every day, we're grateful for the community of women who come together in Lynnfield every day to help each other to become stronger, healthier, and most importantly, happier in our lives. Happy Thanksgiving, #PoiseNation - enjoy your day with your family and friends!

I'm feeling overwhelmed with gratitude this year. When I look back on 2016, what sticks out the most is my community. I don't have to look far to see love in my life. I am thankful and grateful to my friends and family for supporting my goals, loving my kids, myself & my husband. We are truly blessed and I am happy we have this season to reflect and be thankful for the joy in our lives every day!  I wish everyone at Studio Poise the same and thank you all for being a part of my loving community. - Erica Ferrell

I'm thankful for blocking out the noise and being able to hone in on what's truly important! - Janie Soehl

I'm so thankful for the Studio Poise community (clients and instructresses) and the positive impact these ladies have had on my life. It's so nice to find a tribe that supports your big and little goals! - Sam Selig

This year, I am thankful for the friendships I have made at SP.  My life is so busy like everyone's is and I make it a point to make SP my job. I love my classes I take and sometimes (ok most of the time) run my life around them. I have gained amazing friendships from my time at SP and that is because we are a great group of women. I can't thank you all enough for the laughs, support and even when you call me out for not making class. Love you all #poisenation - Alissa Amicone

I'm thankful for the laughter, the smiles, the killer workouts, and the friendships I've made with some of the most amazing and inspiring women!  I'm truly grateful for this sparkly little place. - Kristin

Poise nation is one of the many things I have to be thankful for this year, it makes me so happy that I can share what I love with all of you each week! I had the opportunity to spend two weeks exploring Italy and that is something I will never forget. I’m thankful to have caring and supportive family and friends in my life. But more than anything this year, I am thankful for becoming the owner of a beautiful home with the best boyfriend a girl could ask for! - Brittany Rogers

Every year I feel like I could make a list a mile long to answer this question! But here it is.. I am thankful for my "village" (family and friends) they have done so much this year in helping us welcome our newest family member to helping with our home renovation project trying to make it as painless as possible. Without them none of this would be happening! When they say it takes a village it is true! And I'm thankful for mine! - Lindsey Quigley

I am thankful for so many people, events, and moments in 2016.  I got engaged in July! I'm so thankful for all the love and support that has been shown to Michael and I since (and before) then from our family and friends.  I was promoted at UMass Lowell and received a part time intern to help expand the fitness programming and staffing for the UMass Lowell community. I am thankful to all the students I get to work with and appreciate all the hard work they do to keep the facilities running, classes killer, and clients happy. They also allow me to be able to enjoy my mornings, evenings, and weekends. I completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with the fabulous Jacqui Bonwell in April. I'm so thankful I get to share a love of mine with others and see the impact yoga can have on people's lives. Overall I am thankful for the life I live. I get to share a passion of mine at two wonderful places (UMass Lowell and Studio Poise) everyday in some way. I love leading fitness classes and seeing the energy and happiness it brings to people (yes even the 6am Friday SPiit(ers) leave the studio happy). I have met so many great people because of fitness as well! I truly believe exercise is a form of medicine. It puts a person in a better mood, increases energy, decreases stress levels, heightens cognitive function, provides more confidence, and those are just the non-physical benefits. I am so thankful that in some small way I can help people receive some of those benefits though movement, music, and fun! - Diana Davis

I'm beyond grateful for all the friends that came into my life this past year because of Studio Poise. I'm thankful that I was able to start a new position at my job this summer after waiting many months for the interview. Less stress in my life has caused so much happiness, but not as much happiness as I feel when I'm at Studio Poise surrounded by all of my favorite people. - Meg Manley

I am most grateful for my family, my sisters and brother, We have stuck together through thick and thin and I couldn't love them more. I am also thankful for my supportive husband and my beautiful healthy children and grandchildren. They bring such joy to my life. My lifelong friends and the wonderful people I have met along the way are such an inspiration to me! Life truly is good. - Diane Quigley

I'm grateful for the people who have shaped my life over the past year, for the family who supports me unconditionally, for the people who push me to be a better version of myself and to never settle for less than my best, and for the friends who are there for me through the highs and the lows. - Colleen Myers
